Employment Authorization (EAD Card)

Employment Authorization

We also provide services to our clients for EAD Card or 1-765 application to enable them receive  employment status in the US. We also further enable them to receive their green card status in the US. An Employment Authorization Document (EAD), also known as Form I-765, is a card issued by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) that allows certain eligible non-U.S. citizens to work legally in the United States. It’s not a visa or a green card, but rather a permit that authorizes temporary employment in the U.S. for specific categories of individuals, such as:

  1. F-1 students seeking Optional Practical Training (OPT) or Curricular Practical Training (CPT).
  2. Asylees and refugees.
  3. Certain family-based applicants awaiting green card issuance.
  4. Certain foreign nationals with temporary protected status (TPS).
  5. Adjustment of Status applicants (those applying for a green card within the U.S.).
  6. Spouses of E-1, E-2, E-3, or L-1 visa holders.
  7. H-4 spouses of H-1B visa holders under certain conditions.

To obtain an EAD card (Form I-765), eligible individuals must file a specific USCIS application form, pay the required fees, and provide supporting documentation to prove their eligibility. USCIS will then review the application and, if approved, issue the EAD card. The card typically has a validity period, and its expiration date varies depending on the individual’s immigration status and the reason for obtaining the EAD.

It’s essential to remember that an EAD doesn’t provide legal immigration status on its own; it only grants authorization to work in the U.S. for a limited period based on one’s specific circumstances. If you have questions or need assistance with the EAD application process, you should consult with an immigration attorney or visit the USCIS website for the most up-to-date information and guidance.
